Excavator Slidng Arm
A sliding arm, also known as a telescopic arm or extendable arm, is
a type of hydraulic arm that is attached to an excavator. It is
designed to increase the reach and versatility of the excavator by
allowing the arm to extend and retract. The sliding arm is mounted
on the end of the excavator's boom and consists of a hydraulic
cylinder that can be extended and retracted to adjust the length of
the arm.
The upper part of the excavator sliding arm has a cylinder assembly and a piston rod. The cylinder assembly is mounted to the fixed body, and the piston rod is connected to the movable sliding body. When the cylinder assembly is pressurized, the piston rod extends, pushing the movable sliding body away from the fixed body.
The lower part of the excavator sliding arm consists of a box frame, a base plate, and a rail. The box frame is fixed to the base plate, and the rail is mounted to the box frame. The movable sliding body is mounted with a pair of rollers that run along the rail, allowing it to slide along the rail and move in different directions.

Argon and 20% CO2 mixed.
