How to Install Industrial Air Springs for Screeners
1. Positioning and fixing
Mark the installation point: According to the design drawings or the original shock absorber position, mark the installation point of the air spring on the screener base and the base platform.
Install the base: If a bracket is required, first fix the bracket to the screener base (make sure it is level, use a level to check).
Fix the lower flange or bolts of the air spring to the bracket or base platform, and do not completely tighten it yet.

2. Connect the air spring
Mechanical fixing: Connect the upper part of the air spring to the screener base, and make sure that the bolts are tightened symmetrically and evenly to avoid eccentric loading. Use anti-loosening washers to prevent vibration from causing the bolts to loosen.

Air line connection: Connect the air pipe to the air inlet of the air spring and ensure that the joint is sealed (raw tape or thread glue can be used).
Install a pressure regulating valve and a pressure gauge on the air line to facilitate subsequent pressure adjustment.

3. Inflation and preliminary testing
Slow inflation: Start the air pump and gradually inflate the air spring to 50% of the design pressure. Observe whether it expands evenly and without leakage (soap water can be used to test the joint).
Adjust the position of the air spring, ensure that the base of the screener is level, and then completely tighten all bolts.

Pressure adjustment: Inflate to the rated working pressure (refer to the manufacturer's parameters), and check whether the screener is level and stable.

4. Final debugging
No-load test: Start the screener and observe the vibration amplitude and the response of the air spring. If there is abnormal shaking, adjust the pressure or check the installation symmetry.

Load test: Add material to run, check whether the compression/rebound of the air spring is smooth and the pressure is stable.

Fine-tune the pressure: Fine-tune the air pressure according to the vibration situation to ensure the best shock absorption effect (too high pressure will reduce the shock absorption, and too low pressure may cause insufficient support).
