Q1: What applications are suitable for the 3300 NSv Proximity Probe?

The 3300 NSv Proximity Probe is designed for situations where space constraints prevent the use of standard probes. It's particularly suitable for measuring radial vibration on small-diameter shafts and axial position on small flat targets.

Q2: Can this probe withstand high temperatures?

Yes, the probe operates effectively within a temperature range of -34°C to +177°C (-30°F to +351°F), making it suitable for various industrial environments.

Q3: What materials are used in the construction of the probe?

The probe tip is made from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), and the case is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, providing durability and resistance to harsh conditions.

Q4: How is the probe sealed against pressure?

The probe uses a Viton® O-ring to seal differential pressure between the probe tip and case. Note that probes are not pressure tested prior to shipment; contact the manufacturer if pressure seal testing is required for your application.
