Compo makes both micro glassfiber HEPA filter material as well as synthetic polypropylene HEPA filter material.

Glassfiber HEPA filter material is made by fiberglass fiber extracted from sand. It is produced through a wet laid process which allows it to have high strength and flexibility. This material is made from glass microfibers. It has various characteristics such as high dust holding capacity, easy-pleating, and low air resistance.

This micro fiberglass material is ideal for air filtration. It can be used in various applications such as industrial and household air purification. Compo has three different ranges of this material: ASHREA, HEPA, and Ulpa.

Synthetic HEPA filter paper is made by Polyester with polypropylene meltblown. The polyester as a supporting layer laminate with polypropylene meltblown to make it pleatable.This Synthetic HEPA filter paper is perfect with high efficiency with pretty low air pressure drop.

What is the difference between fiberglass HEPA filter material and synthetic HEPA filter material?

Compo’s micro glass fiber paper is made of small microfiber. From Raw material fiber, through the process of Pulping and Forming through the machine. Then do Gluing, Binders Drying, and Post-processing. Very Good chemical stability. High mechanical strength, excellent thermal resistance, Non-combustible and Excellent biocorrosion resistance.

Compo’s synthetic HEPA filter paper is polyester fabric laminated with polypropylene meltblown by laminating machine.
