Piroxicam-beta-cyclodextrin (also known as
piroxicam-beta-cyclodextrin) is made by a unique process route, in
which pharmaceutical grade piroxicam and pharmaceutical grade
beta-cyclodextrin are included and refined in a specific ratio.
Compared with piroxicam monomer, the inclusion complex has lower
odor, stronger stability, and a smoother drug release rate, and is
mainly used in anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs.
