Product Description
γ-cyclodextrin has a larger cavity than b-cyclodextrin, so the
cavity can contain a wider range of guest molecules.
It has better water solubility. At room temperature of 25°C, the
solubility of γ-cyclodextrin is 25.6g/100ml, while the solubility
of α-cyclodextrin is 12.7g/100ml water and the solubility of
b-cyclodextrin is only 1.88g/100ml water. Its application prospects
are broader than those of b-cyclodextrin. However, due to the small
production scale, the price is relatively high, which limits the
promotion of its application.
