Carbon ferrochrome ore is mainly used in the chemical industry to produce heavy carbon sodium ferrochromate, and then to produce other carbon ferrochrome compounds for use in pigments, textiles, electroplating, leather making and other industries. It can also be used to make catalysts and catalytic agents.
