‌C22 stainless steel plate alloy (N06022) is a high-performance nickel-based alloy, also known as Hastelloy C22 or UNS N06022. ‌
Chemical composition and physical properties: C22 alloy is mainly composed of nickel (about 56%), chromium (about 20.0%-22.5%), molybdenum (about 12.5%-14.5%) and tungsten (about 2.5%-3.5%), and also contains a small amount of iron, cobalt, carbon, silicon, sulfur and other elements. The ratio of these elements makes C22 alloy have high density (about 8.69-8.9 g/cm3), high melting point (about 1351-1387°C) and good hardness (89 HRB). In addition, the tensile strength of C22 alloy at room temperature can reach 700-900MPa, and the yield strength can reach 400-500MPa‌.
Corrosion resistance and mechanical properties: C22 alloy is known for its excellent corrosion resistance and can resist strong corrosive media such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and chloride solutions. Especially in chloride-containing environments, C22 alloy can effectively resist pitting and crevice corrosion and show excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking. In addition, C22 alloy can still maintain stable physical and mechanical properties under high temperature and high pressure environments, and is suitable for various complex engineering environments.
