ST204A Fully Automatic Characteristic Viscometer
The ST204A fully automatic characteristic viscometer is suitable
for the second method of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia General Rule
0633, the Ubbelohde capillary viscometer determination method, and
the USP<911>viscosity Ubbelohde capillary method design and
manufacturing. This method uses the relative method to measure the
time required for a certain volume of liquid to flow through a
capillary tube under the action of gravity, in order to obtain the
fluid's kinematic viscosity.
The ST204A fully automatic characteristic viscosity analyzer has a
series of fully automatic functions such as automatic constant
temperature, automatic extraction, automatic timing, automatic
calculation, automatic printing, automatic cleaning, and automatic
drying in automatic mode. When in use, only one injection click is
needed to start the experiment.
The Ubbelohde capillary viscometer selects a capillary viscometer
with an appropriate inner diameter specification based on the
viscosity range of the sample to be tested (Table 2 of the 2025
Chinese Pharmacopoeia).

viscosity value according to the 2025 Pharmacopoeia General
