Functionality

elevator, maintenance personnel can use the power lock to cut off

turning on the elevator power, ensuring the safe operation of the
elevator system. For example, during non-operating hours, locking
the power can prevent others from mistakenly operating the
elevator, avoiding potential safety accidents.
Working principle
The elevator power lock typically operates by combining a
mechanical lock with an electrical switch. When the key is inserted
into the power lock and turned, the mechanical lock opens,
simultaneously triggering the electrical switch to connect or
disconnect the elevator's power circuit. Common power locks include
key-type and password-type. Key-type power locks require a special
key to operate, while password-type locks control the power by
entering the correct code.
