Composite Plugging Agent for Drilling

Composite Plugging Agent

In the process of oil drilling, the correct way to pay the loss is to add the plugging material to the drilling fluid. Plugging materials include fiber products (such as paper, cottonseed shells), particulate matter (such as nut shells), and flake materials (such as flake mica). The above materials are proportionally combined together, that is the composite plugging agent.

Composite Plugging agent for drilling fluid is Solid powder. After adding mud, multiple fibers and solids will be formed, which can provide drilling fluid with a particle size that is suitable for the formation temperature deformable softening ions that match the size of the micro cracks being sealed, in order to achieve more effective sealing and protection of oil and gas reservoirs.

Composite plugging agent plays a vital role in oil drilling. It solves the problem of leakage effectively, protects the reservoir and improves the drilling efficiency through rapid plugging, formation of shielding zone, reduction of filtration loss, wide applicability and improvement of mud performance.
