Application Notes:

1. Confirm the voltage and power parameters of the motor, which must not exceed the range specified by the drive board.

2. The JYQD_V8.5E is a dedicated drive board for brushless DC motors without hall sensors. However, not all three-phase

motors can be directly used with it.If the driving effect is suboptimal (e.g., startup jitter, reverse rotation, excessive current

at high speed, unstable speed, reduced efficiency, or failure to start normally under load), customers can adjust the parameters

of individual components on the drive board according to actual conditions to achieve the best driving effect.

3. The JYQD_V8.5E drive board is a bare board. For motors driven below 60W, forced cooling is not required—only normal

ventilation is needed. If the motor power exceeds 60W, forced cooling is mandatory, and a heat sink must be added (pay

attention to insulation; see the installation method below).

4. The JYQD_V8.5E drive board has no reverse polarity protection. Connecting the power supply in reverse will cause permanent

damage to the board (please pay special attention during application).

5. The 5V output port on the drive board is strictly prohibited from connecting external electrical devices. It is only suitable for

connecting potentiometers or switches on the board for speed regulation and direction change.

6. The M terminal on the JYQD_V8.5E drive board is the motor speed pulse output signal (push-pull output), with a maximum

output current of less than 5mA.

Wiring Diagram:

1. Control Ports (Right)
   • 5V — Internal output voltage of the drive board
   • M — Motor speed pulse signal output port, 5V pulse signal.
   • Z/F — Forward/reverse control port. Connect to 5V high level (or leave unconnected) for one-direction rotation; connect to 0V low level (or ground) for the opposite direction.
   • VR — Speed control port. Analog voltage speed regulation (0.1V-5V for speed regulation, linear adjustment from low to high). PWM speed control requires a shared ground with the drive board.
   • GND — Ground for internal control of the drive board.
2. Power Ports (Left)
   • MA — One of the motor's three-phase wires
   • MB — One of the motor's three-phase wires
   • MC — One of the motor's three-phase wires
   • P- — DC power supply negative pole (-)
   • P+ — DC power supply positive pole (+)
3. Note: Motor wires should not be too long, as the drive board relies on back EMF detection. Excessively long wires may cause signal interference issues.
4. Control ports use a 2.54mm pitch, while power ports use a 3.96mm pitch.
5. When adding a heat sink or installing the board, ensure proper insulation to avoid electrical hazards.
