**Principles of High Voltage Fuses**

equipment.
4. **Time-Current Characteristic**:
- Fuses have a specific time-current curve, which determines how
quickly they respond to overcurrents. Fast-acting fuses respond
quickly, while time-delay fuses tolerate temporary overloads.
