Working principle
The gas chromatograph employs a unique separation technology, using
gas as the mobile phase to drive the sample to flow through the
chromatographic column. During this process, different components
in the sample form different migration speeds within the column
based on the differences in their partition coefficients between
the stationary phase and the mobile phase. This enables efficient
separation. The separated components then enter the detector one
after another. The detector converts them into electrical signals,
which are analyzed and recorded through the data processing system.
Eventually, a clear and accurate chromatogram is presented,
providing a strong basis for component analysis.
