Pup joints are a type of tubular product used in oil and gas drilling and production operations. They are short lengths of pipe,usually ranging from 2 feet to 10 feet long, that are used to make up for length discrepancies when assembling longer sections of drill pipe or casing.

The API 5CT crossover is a string connecting piece. The crossover is used for achieving the connection between the string and wellhead suspenders, and between the strings with various specifications. And the crossover can ensure the mechanical property of it is better than that of the string connected with it by selective preference of the material and optimization of the processing technology.
