The steam matpreheater belt is mainly used in the steam pre-heater
processing section of Wood Based Panel Manufacturing Line. Through
external pressure, high-temperature water vapor quickly penetrates
the interior of the slab, uniformly and instantly heating the
entire slab, which can shorten the board making time, improve
production efficiency, and save energy.
When the steam-spraying equipment is working, steam passes through
the mesh belt to heat the Mate. The mesh belt is usually
symmetrically arranged up and down, and a gap is formed in the
middle for the slab to pass through.
1. Features
- High temperature resistance: It can maintain stable performance
at 120-140℃ or even higher temperatures. For example, some mesh
belts made of thermoplastic resin monofilaments and carbon fiber
monofilaments can reach a long-term use temperature of 180°C and a
short-term use temperature of 200°C.
- Good air permeability: Fabric structures with high-efficiency
through holes, such as plain or twill fabrics with square holes,
can maximize the use of steam heat energy and quickly heat up the
slab.
- Strong anti-fouling ability: After high-temperature coating
treatment, such as coating with a mixed solution of silicone oil
and water or PTFE emulsion and water, the clogging of colloids in
the fabric mesh can be reduced.
- Dimensional stability: High-temperature heat setting treatment
ensures the dimensional stability of the mesh belt at working
temperature and prevents excessive shrinkage or deformation due to
temperature changes.
- High strength and hydrolysis resistance: Selected materials such
as thermoplastic resin monofilaments and carbon fiber monofilaments
can effectively reduce the hydrolysis of materials under high
temperature and high humidity conditions, ensure the strength of
the materials, and extend the service life.
2. Material and structure
- Material: Common ones include polyester fiber, stainless steel,
etc. Polyester mesh belts have low cost, certain flexibility and
corrosion resistance; stainless steel mesh belts have high
strength, high temperature resistance, and better corrosion
resistance.
- Structure: Usually woven from warp and weft threads, with various
texture structures, such as 2/2, 1/3, 3/1 and other combination
textures of plain or twill fabrics to meet different breathability
and strength requirements.
3. Maintenance
- Regular cleaning: remove impurities such as wood chips and glue
on the mesh belt to prevent clogging of the mesh holes and
affecting the air permeability and heat transfer performance.
Compressed air, high-pressure water guns, etc. can be used for
cleaning.
- Check wear and tear: Check the wear and tear of the mesh belt,
especially the edges and joints, and promptly discover and deal
with wear and tear, breakage and other problems, and repair or
replace them if necessary.
- Control operating parameters: Strictly control the parameters of
the steam spraying process such as temperature, pressure and time
to avoid damage to the mesh belt due to excessive parameters or
excessive fluctuations.
