DRILL PIPE Center Latch Elevators Drilling Tools
BJ "G" type elevators are conventional center latch taper type
elevators for handling drill pipe. There are 5 types ranging from
100 to 500 ton capacity and covering pipe sizes from 2-3/8'' to
6-5/8" OD. A modified G type elevator uses a special wear bushing
for use with Top Drive Systems. G-SERIES elevators are available in
both manual and air operated configurations.

G series elevators are center latch elevators with 18 degree taper
shoulder, applied in handling the drill pipes and drilling
tools, etc. The load ranges from 100 tons to 500 tons and the size
ranges from 2-3/8 to 6-5/8. The products shall be designed and
manufactured according to the requirements in API Spec 8C
Specification for drilling and production hoisting equipment.
