Product Overview
The Elevator Link is the core force transmission component that
connects the Elevator and the Traveling Block in oil drilling
operations. It ensures the safety and stability of the drill
string, casing and other pipes during the lifting and lowering
process through high tensile strength and impact resistance design.
It is widely used in drilling and well repair operations in deep
wells on land, offshore platforms and complex working conditions,
and is a key force-bearing component of the drilling rig lifting
system.

Core Functions
- High load transmission: Selected high-strength alloy steel, after special heat treatment
and precision processing, the maximum dynamic load reaches 1500
short tons (about 1360 tons), suitable for different specifications
of elevators (such as 2-3/8" to 20" pipe diameter), to ensure the
safe lifting of heavy pipes.
- Anti-fatigue design: adopts integral forging process and arc transition structure to
disperse stress concentration and extend cycle life.
- Quick connection: Standardized pin interface design supports quick disassembly and
assembly with API standard elevators and traveling blocks, suitable
for all types of oilfield drilling equipment, whether traditional
mechanical or modern automated drilling systems.
- Extreme environment resistance: Surface galvanizing or nitriding treatment, resistance to hydrogen
sulfide corrosion and mud scouring, adaptable to marine high salt
spray and sulfur-containing formation environments.

- Material: high-quality alloy steel (4145H/4140), quenched and tempered heat
treatment, hardness HRC28-32.
- Specification range:
o Applicable elevator types: Center Latch, Side Door, Slip Type.
o Load capacity: 500-1500 short tons (static/dynamic load optional).
o Length: 1.5 meters to 5 meters, support non-standard customization.
- Interface standard: API standard pin interface, compatible with mainstream traveling
blocks and elevator models.
- Inspection and certification: 100% ultrasonic flaw detection (UT) and magnetic particle
inspection (MPI), in compliance with API 8A/8C, ISO 14693
specifications.
