The hydrocyclone is a device used to separate and remove heavier coarse particles of mud and sand from sewage, and is sometimes also used for mud dehydration. There are two types: pressure type and gravity type. The hydrocyclone consists of a hollow cylinder at the top and an inverted cone at the bottom that is connected to the cylinder. The two form the working cylinder of the hydrocyclone. In addition, the hydrocyclone also has a feed pipe, an overflow pipe, an overflow duct and a sand settling port. The hydrocyclone uses a sand pump and water or heavy medium as the medium. It enters the centrifugal force field with dozens to hundreds of times the gravity acceleration from the top along the tangent to classify and separate the material particles. The coarse and heavy particles are thrown to the wall of the device and rotate downward and discharged together with the concentrated liquid formed. The smaller particles are discharged with the secondary upward vortex after rotating to a certain extent. According to its different uses, it can be divided into grinding and classification cyclones, desludging cyclones, concentration cyclones, desanding cyclones, etc.

Construction principle:

Hydrocyclone has no moving parts and simple structure; large production capacity per unit volume, small footprint; high classification efficiency (up to 80% to 90%), fine classification particle size; low cost, low material consumption.

The FX series cyclone produced and sold by our company Huichi petro adopts multi-cone nonlinear centrifugal classification technology; it has a multi-section cone angle design, high centrifugal strength, fine classification particle size; the cyclone pressure drop is small, and the cyclone processing capacity is increased; the feed resistance is small, the energy consumption is low, the operation is stable, the footprint is small, and the operating cost is low.
