Product Overview
Carbonless paper, also known as NCR (No Carbon Required) paper, is a specially coated printing material that transfers
information from the top sheet to the sheets beneath it without using carbon paper. It’s ideal for creating multi-part forms like invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
Each sheet is coated with reactive chemicals:
CB (Coated Back) – Top sheet that releases dye when pressure is applied.
CF (Coated Front) – Bottom sheet that receives the image.
CFB (Coated Front & Back) – Middle sheet in 3-part forms that both receives and transfers
the image.
When written or printed on, the pressure breaks dye capsules on the
CB layer, which react with the CF layer to produce a clear, lasting image on the next sheet.
