Temperatures Of Materials

TC type oil seals are suitable for a wide range of temperatures, generally between - 40°C and 120°C. Different rubber materials have different temperature ranges, for example, Nitrile Rubber (NBR) has a temperature range of - 40℃ to 1020℃ and Fluorine Rubber (FKM) has a temperature range of - 40℃ to 250℃.

• Under high temperature environment, the rubber material of oil seals will gradually aging and soften, resulting in a decline in sealing performance. Therefore, under high temperature working conditions, it is necessary to choose oil seal materials with good high temperature resistance and take appropriate cooling measures.
• Under low temperature environment, the rubber material of oil seal will become stiff and lose elasticity, which will affect the sealing effect.
