(EOT) cranes, are a type of overhead crane that consist of two
overhead runways, the crane bridge (the horizontal beam that rides
along the runways), a hoist, and a trolley. A standard design will
feature one or two load-bearing beams, also known as girders, that
are mounted to either the top or bottom of the runway.

Applications:
Overhead crane is an important equipment to realize mechanization
and automation of production process in modern industrial
production and lifting transportation. The crane is widely used in
manufacturing, mining, iron and steel, chemical industry, railroad
transportation, port terminals, logistics turnover and other
industries.
Main structure of Bridge Crane:
The bridge crane consists of bridge frame, lifting trolley, crane
traveling mechanism, operation room and so on.
The bridge is the basic component of the bridge crane, which is
composed of the main girder and the end girder. The main girder
spans over the plant, and the end girders are connected at both
ends. The main girder is equipped with walking platform and safety
railing on the outside. The bridge is equipped with crane traveling
mechanism, electrical box, hoisting mechanism, trolley running
track and auxiliary skid frame.
Crane traveling mechanism consists of driving motor, brake, drive
shaft, reducer and wheels. There are two kinds of driving methods:
centralized driving and separate driving. At present, most of the
bridge cranes produced in China adopt the separate drive mode,
which has the advantages of light weight, easy installation and
maintenance. The whole crane moves forward and backward along the
length of the workshop under the drive of the crane traveling
mechanism.
The trolley traveling mechanism consists of trolley frame, hoisting
mechanism, etc. The trolley can move along the track on the main
beam of the bridge. The trolley frame is welded by steel plate,
equipped with cart moving mechanism, lifting mechanism, railing and
lifting limit switch. The lifting mechanism consists of motor,
reducer, reel, brake and so on.
As can be seen from the above, the crane movement is divided into
three kinds, i.e., forward and backward movement driven by the
crane drive motor, left and right movement driven by the trolley
drive motor, and lifting movement driven by the lifting Motor.
