Wire and Cable Sheath Abrasion Resistance Testing Equipment

1. Description

The test machine meets the TB/T1484-2001 "Technical Conditions for Cable Ordering of Railway Locomotives and Rolling Stocks - Cable Sheath Scraping and Grinding Test" standard, and the test method for mechanical and physical properties - Extrusion Sheath Scraping and Grinding Test. It is suitable for wire and cable industry to scrape and grind the sample at a certain speed until it cracks or breaks, and record the times of scraping and grinding, or to observe whether the sample has cracks or breaks after a fixed number of scraping and grinding.

2. Instrument Parameters Are As Follows

(1) Test power supply: AC 220 (± 10%) V / 50HZ

(2) The radius of curvature of the scraper is R = 0.125 mm

(3) The scraper device moves in two directions along the wire axis, and the stroke of the scraper is more than 10mm.

(4) Exercise frequency: 10 ~ 60 times / min.

(5) Number of trials: 4 times

(6) Count: 4 bits.

(7) The specimen length: About 750 mm, is fixed on a steel anvil.

(8) Weights: 400g, 700g, 1000g (weights applied to scraping pins)

(9) Function: when the needle is worn through the insulation and contact with the conductor, the equipment will alarm and stop.

(10) The minimum distance between the test points and between the test points and the end of the specimen is more than 10 mm. Each test sample rotates 90 degrees (i.e., scraping one side, turning 90 degrees, scraping the other side, so that the specimen can be scraped sufficiently).
