Longtai Foamed Polypropylene(PP) Tape is a binding film which has a
foam structure and high tenacity. It also has low basis weight,
good tensile strength and can hold the cable firm. It is widely
used in low & medium voltage cables (from 1 to 35kv).
Application:
Apply to wrapping and filling with communication cable and
shielding layer, waterproof layer of composite cable with multiple
structures.

Electrical characteristics:
The main character of PP foam tape is light weight, good
longitudinal tensile, environmentally friendly. Has good heat
resistance and can be used for more than 120℃.
Slitting and packaging:
Slitting minimum width of 5mm, bore size of 52mm or 76mm; the
winding maximum outer diameter of 800mm, carton packaging
Packaging and Marking:
Polypropylene PP Foam Tape will be packed in paper carton with PE
film bag inside. It is then sealed and inserted in a wooden pallet.
After it is fixed, an external plastic coversheet is wrapped around
it to avoid water penetration.
Storage:
Polypropylene PP Foam Tape has a shelf life of 12 months from
production date if stored in unopened original packages, under dry
and clean conditions at temperatures between 10-30°C. The product
will be damaged if it is stored in a moist area or if it gets in
contact with water.
