What is Slide Switch

A slide switch is an electromechanical device used to control the flow of current in a circuit path.The series of devices are driven by sliding mechanical switches. The slide switch use a slider that moves (slides) from the open (off) position to the closed (on) position.These characteristics include circuit, switching function, contact timing,voltage rating (AC or DC),current rating, and actuator type.

Application of Slide Switch

Sliding switches are most suitable for controlling current in small projects. Slide switches come in many terminal types, including leads, feeders, welded terminals, quick-connect ,screw terminals, or blade terminals, surface mount technology, and panel mount switches.
