Mobile skimmer pump / Light and compact / On a pontoon or tracked

A manufacturer of oil spill response equipment in Asia was in
search for a pump for mobile units. The units are equipped with
small diesel motors and are solely to be used as oily water skimmer
pumps during oil spill emergencies in the region. The Accuvon
rotary lobe pump was selected due to the low shear, low speed with
no friction on the moving pump parts as well as the reduction of
oil-water emulsification. The dry-run capability and the low weight

There are many cases where water is contaminated with oil. Each oil
spill disaster requires quick corrective action, or it can pose a
high risk of damage to the ecological system.
In order to skim the oil or other floating impurities from the

viscosities and work in slurp-mode.
