Masima 4051 (RD SET DCI-P) reusable sensors are used for "spot check" or continuous non-invasive monitoring of arterial hemoglobin functional oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate (measured by the SpO2 sensor) for Active and akinetic adult and pediatric patients, and patients with adequate or hypoperfusion in hospitals, healthcare facilities, mobile and home settings

This reusable sensors are for use only with devices containing Masima SET® oximetry or licensed to use RD SET DCI and DCI-P sensors. Consult individual device manufacturer for compatibility of particular device and sensor models. Each device manufacturer is responsible for determining whether its device is compatible with each sensor model.The RD SET DCI and DCI-P sensors have been verified using Masima SET Oximetry Technolo.

► Cleaning

1. Remove the sensor from the patient and disconnect it from the patient cable.

2. Clean the sensor by wiping with a 70% isopropyl alcohol pad.

3. Allow the sensor to dry thoroughly prior to placement on a patient.

Or

1. If low-level disinfection is required, use a 1:10 bleach / water solution.

2. Saturate a cloth or gauze pad with the cleaning solution and wipe all surfaces of the sensor and cable.

3. Saturate another cloth or gauze pad with sterile or distilled water and wipe all surfaces of the sensor and cable.

4. Dry the sensor and cable with a clean cloth or dry gauze pads.
