Installation

Vaporizers should be installed in accordance with the specific vaporizer user instructions.

When the control knob is in the T position:

1 Press button 0 (A) and turn the control knob (B) to position 0. Wait at least 15 seconds to ensure pressure equalization.

2 Press the 0 button (A) and turn the control knob (B) counterclockwise to the desired anesthetic gas concentration.

3 Periodically check the fluid level in the sight glass (C). The charge level must be between the minimum and maximum values.

4 When the fill mark (D) is reached, a 250 ml bottle of general anesthetic can be filled.

5 Fill the carburettor at the latest when it reaches the lowest mark (E), see the instructions for the specific carburettor.

Warning

Risk of patient injury

When the vaporizer is in the position of the control button T, heated by the high ambient temperature, and then in use, a high concentration of anesthetic gas can be delivered.

After connecting the vaporizer to the anesthesia workstation, always turn the vaporizer control knob to position 0 and wait at least 15 seconds to allow pressure equalization.
