The spot welding electrode material is usually chromium zirconium
copper (CuCrZr), which has high conductivity, high hardness, long
service life, less loss of current power through the electrode, and
is not easy to soften at high temperature.

hardness is still high under high temperature, and the welding
process is not easy to deform.

Different Types of Electrodes
Plug Electrode and Thread electrode
Plug electrode and thread electrode are also commonly used
electrodes. The plug electrode is small in size and suitable for
dry small spot welding machine or multi-spot welding machine.
Thread electrode is suitable for projection welding or multi-spot
welding with small assembly space or large welding pressure.
