Elevator oil pressure buffer is a special kind of oil pressure
buffer, which is widely used in elevator system to reduce the
impact force generated when the elevator stops or collides suddenly
in operation, so as to protect the safety of passengers and
elevators themselves.
The elevator oil pressure buffer is usually installed in the buffer
area at the top or bottom of the elevator shaft. It consists of a
sealed container and a movable piston, which is filled with special
buffer oil.
When the elevator stops suddenly or suffers external impact during
operation, the buffer will convert the impact force into heat
energy and kinetic energy loss through the movement of the piston
and the damping effect of the oil, thus reducing the impact on the
elevator and passengers.
