Description:
Ultrasonic fabric cutting uses ultrasonic energy to melt the
material to be cut by local heating, thus eliminating the need for
a sharp edge. It is commonly used to cut difficult-to-cut materials
such as thermoplastic resin sheets, sheets, films and laminates,
carbon fibre composites, fabrics and rubber.
With 30,000 vibrations per second (30 kHz) and a maximum output of
100 W, ultrasonic fabric cutting can easily cut resin, rubber,
nonwovens and composites due to this movement. The fabric cutting
knife housing is made of stainless steel, and the blade is made of
inert, hard wearing metal – HSS with a thickness of 0.6mm, which
does not have a lasting chemical reaction with the cutting
material. Users can replace the blades themselves. High-frequency
vibration reduces frictional resistance on the cutting surface,
extending the blades’ life and saving costs.

Advantages:
1. High stability: During the operation of the ultrasonic
generator, electromagnetic vibration is generated, which is
converted into mechanical vibration and transmitted to the cutting
blade and cutting material. Due to mechanical cutting, there is no
need for sharp cutting edges, the blade wear is minimal, and the
cutting head can be replaced on its own.
2. Safety and environmental protection: When cutting ultrasonic
knives, the temperature of the blade is below 50 degrees Celsius,
which will not produce smoke and odor, eliminating the risk of
injury and fire during the cutting process.
3. Neat cutting: As ultrasonic waves cut through high-frequency
vibrations, the material does not adhere to the surface of the
blade, requiring only a small amount of pressure during cutting.
Fragile and soft materials also do not deform or wear, and the
fabric is cut and automatically sealed. It will not cause
fragmentation.
4. Easy to operate: The cutting blade is connected to an ultrasonic
generator, which is connected to a 220V power supply and can cut
switches to support handheld and airborne cutting.
5. Wide application range: rubber, vulcanized latex, non vulcanized
latex, food and various textile materials, as well as ultrasonic
cutting of plastic sheets.
