Pre-painted Galvalume Steel Sheets (PPGL), by definition, are
galvalume steel sheets with color coating on the surface.
With coating materials featuring different colors and abilities,
PPGL is able to achieve a variety of appearances and functions, per
customer requirements. Compared to plain galvalume steel, PPGL is
more diverse in colors and also has better performance in corrosion
resistance, weather resistance, and many other aspects.
The production of color-coated steel coils is usually divided into
two steps: coating preparation and coating process. Coating
preparation refers to preparing the colored coating into a state
suitable for coating, including the formulation design, production
process, quality control, etc. of the coating. The coating process
refers to applying the color coating on the steel plate, usually
using two methods: roller coating and spraying. Roller coating is
to apply a colored coating on a steel plate, and then use roller
equipment to perform processes such as calendering, drying and
curing. Spraying is to spray the colored coating on the steel
plate, and then use drying and curing equipment for post-processing
