is necessary to replace Fe2O3 in time after some time of use as the
effectiveness will be lost which causes bad smell when using
biogas.
Dry desulfurization is a simple, efficient and relatively low-cost
desulfurization method. It is usually suitable for desulfurization
of biogas with low biogas and low hydrogen sulfide concentration.
The fundamental principle of desulfurizing biogas gas through dry
process is by oxidizing H2S to sulfur or sulfur oxide with the
presence of O2, which is also referred to as "dry oxidation".
