This dielectric proof instrument conforms to the IEC 62368-1:2023 clause 5.4.9.1, IEC60065:2014 clause 10.4.2 and figure 6, IEC60950-1:2013 clause 5.2.2 and etc. It is used to test the dielectric strength of the insulating material.

An electric strength test instrument for solid insulation is used to assess the dielectric strength or insulation integrity of solid materials, such as electrical cables, transformers, insulators, and other electrical components. This type of instrument is commonly referred to as a Dielectric Strength Tester or High Voltage Tester. It is used to ensure that the solid insulation can withstand high voltage without breakdown or failure.

The clamp is applicable of two kinds: Ф5-100 andФ6.4-50. For different testing samples, different metal bar and testing bar are adopted. This testing apparatus is equipped with two kinds of metal bar. They are separately 100g and 50g.
