Product Details

The high-carbon chromium bearing steel is a high-carbon alloy steel with 1.40~1.65% chromium. It is characterized by a more uniform and stable structure after heat treatment, high hardness, high uniformity, good wear resistance, high contact fatigue strength, and good dimensional stability and corrosion resistance after annealing, its cutting performance is good and the price is relatively cheap. This steel can meet bearing requirements under normal working conditions.

Hardness

Ball hardness is controlled within the 60-67 HRC range as measured on parallel flat surfaces. The steel balls come lightly lubricated to keep their perfect polish.

Material Characteristics

Mainly used in ball bearing design and various industrial applications. A vacuum degassed GCr15 chrome steel is used to obtain high-quality balls with excellent surface finish, through-hardness and high load capacity. Consumable electrode vacuum melting materials can also be provided.

Applicable Industries

GCr15 bearing steel is widely used to manufacture spindle bearings, railway bearings,engine bearings, machine tools bearings, mining machinery bearings, general machinery bearings etc.

GCr15SiMn bearing steel is mainly used to manufacture thick wall bearings, such as large and extra large size bearings, used in heavy machinery and rolling mill machinery.
