Sanwood large UV test chamber, also called UV chamber, ultraviolet
aging test chamber of photovoltaic module testing adopts
fluorescent ultraviolet lamp to simulate the UV spectrum in
sunlight, and combines with temperature control and humidity supply
devices to simulate the degree of damage caused by environmental
climate to materials, such as discoloration, strength and
brightness reduction, cracking, pulverization, peeling, oxidation,
etc, The equipment has the advantages of solar UV simulation, low
maintenance cost and easy to use. The equipment adopts touch screen
programmable controller to automatically run the test cycle, with
high degree of automation, good light stability and high recurrence
rate of test results. It is suitable for aging test of all kinds of
products or materials, plastics, rubber, coatings, paints,

Large UV chamber Features:
◆ The main controller of the test chamber is an intelligent digital
display controller, which is easy to learn and use with the
humanized design.
The shell and inner liner are made of high-quality stainless steel,
and the sample holder is made of frame type base frame liner plate
and spring.
◆ Digital correction system is adopted for input, with common
thermal resistance built in, and the measurement is accurate and
stable.
◆ The surface of the sample is transferred to the non irradiation
state at night after the specified irradiation time. At this time,
the surface of the sample is still exposed to the saturated mixture
of indoor hot air and water vapor for heating, while the back of
the sample is cooled by the air in the surrounding (condensation)
space to form the exposure state of condensation on the test
surface.

Large UV chamber Functions:
◆ Water Spray and Condensation function
1) Water spray The large UV chamber SM-UV2000 spray system designed
with 16 nozzles. Spray system can run a few minutes and then shut
down. This transitory water spray can cool the samples quickly,
creating heat shock conditions.
2) Condensation In many outdoor environments, materials are placed
in wet condition for over 12 hours each day. Studies have shown
that the main factor of this wet condition outdoor is caused by
dew, not rain. Sanwood large UV chamber SM-UV2000 simulates the
outdoor moisture erosion through the unique condensation
capabilities. In the condensation cycle during the test, water on
the bottom of the chamber is heated to obtain superheated steam
filling the test chamber.
Hot steam makes the chamber maintain 100% relative humidity, and
maintain a relatively high temperature. Sample was fixed on the
wall of test chamber. Thus the sample surface is exposed to the
ambient air of test chamber. The other side of the sample is
exposed to the natural environment which has a cooling effect,
bringing internal and external surfaces of the sample with
temperature difference, and the temperature difference leads to the
test surfaces always have drips caused by condensation process.

The large UV chamber SM-UV2000 equip with 16 pieces UVA or UVB
lamps, which can simulates the sunlight covering the spectrum. UV
lamps origin from Q-labs.
◆ Temperature and humidity environment in the working room.
Control the temperature automatically with high precision Pt 100
temperature sensor of black board.
In each cycle, the temperature can be controlled at a set value. At
the same time, the black panel thermometer can monitor the
temperature. Temperature increase can accelerate the aging process,
and the temperature control for reproducibility of the test is also
very important.
BST (Black panel thermometer)consists of a PT100 sensor and a metal
panel painted by black coating, and be exposed to the same
condition as test panels. It’s used to monitor exposuring test
panels surface temperature during test. BST can be set any value
according to different requirements and also be controlled
automatically during the whole test. It also can be calibrated
periodically.
