Incoloy 800 / 800H / 800 HT , UNS N08810, UNS N08811 overview
Incoloy 800 Plate, Incoloy 800H Plate, and Incoloy 800HT Plate are
nickel-iron-chromium alloys with good strength and excellent
resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature
exposure. The chemical composition of the two alloys areidentical
to Alloy 800 Plate (UNS N08800), with the exception of the higher
level of carbon present in both grades - (0.05 - 0.10%) in alloy
800H, and(0.06 - 0.10%) in Alloy 800HT Plate. Incoloy 800ht Plate
also has an addition of up 1.0% aluminum and titanium. Alloy 800
Coil has good creep-rupture properties at temperatures above 1100°F
(600°C).
The high temperature resistance of Incoloy 800 Strip is comparable
to Inconel 800h Plate. It also remains stable in long term high
temperature service. The tight chemistry control and solution
annealing heat treatment were designed to provide optimum creep and
rupture properties for Incoloy 800h Plate and ASTM B409 UNS N08811.
Inconel 800 Plate can be cold formed by standards methods.
