Product Description

Headers collect and distribute steam or water from or to a series of smaller pipes or conduits. They are made of carbon or ferritic steel, generally of the same grade as the piping systems. Unlike piping systems which are usually butt welded and bent, headers are straight.

Application

1	Headers form an important part of all types of boilers.

They are big pipe headers that transfer water from the downcomers to the risers through a combustion zone where the water gets partially heated to steam from the heat of fuel combustion.
