Glass Fiber Geogrid Introduction

Glass Fiber Geogrid Features:

Glass Fiber Geogrid Application:
1. Old asphalt concrete pavement, reinforced asphalt surface,
prevent and cure diseases.
2. When the cement concrete pavement is rebuilt into composite
pavement, the reflection cracks are caused by the shrinkage of the
slab.
3. Road renovation project, prevention and treatment of cracks
caused by new old joint and uneven settlement.
4. The reinforcement treatment of soft soil foundation is conducive
to the water separation and consolidation of soft soil, which can
effectively restrain the settlement, even the stress distribution
and enhance the overall strength of the subgrade.
5. Shrinkage cracks are produced in the semi-rigid base of the new
road, and the reinforcement is used to prevent the pavement cracks
caused by the reflection of the foundation cracks.
Classification and construction method of glass fiber geogrid
There are two kinds of glass fiber geogrids with and without
self-adhesive. Those with self-adhesive can be directly laid on the
leveled base, while those without self-adhesive usually adopt nail
fixation method.
1. Construction site: it is required to be compacted, level and
clean, except for sharp protuberances.
2. Grid laying: on the flat and compacted site, the main stress
direction (longitudinal) of the grid installed and laid shall be
vertical to the axis of the embankment, and the laying shall be
flat without wrinkles, and shall be tensioned as far as possible.
The main stress direction of the laid grid is Zui good, and there
is no joint in the whole length. The connection between width and
width can be bound and overlapped manually, and the lap width is
not less than 10cm. If the grating is set in more than two layers,
the seam between layers should be staggered. After large area
laying, the flatness shall be adjusted as a whole. After a layer of
soil is filled and before rolling, the grid shall be tensioned
again with manual or machine tools, and the force shall be uniform,
so that the grid is in a straight stress state in the soil.
3. Selection of filler: the filler shall be selected according to
the design requirements. Practice has proved that except frozen
soil, swamp soil, domestic waste, chalk soil and diatomite, they
can be used as fillers. However, gravel soil and sand soil have
stable mechanical properties and little influence by water content,
so they should be preferred. The particle size of the filler shall
not be greater than 15cm, and the gradation of the filler shall be
controlled to ensure the compaction weight.
4. Paving and compaction of filling materials: when the grid is
laid and positioned, it shall be filled and covered in time, and
the exposure time shall not exceed 48 hours. In addition, the flow
process method of laying and backfilling can also be adopted. Push
the filler to the middle and then fix it. The rolling sequence is
from both sides to the middle. During rolling, the roller can not
directly contact with the reinforcement material, and the vehicle
is not allowed to drive on it for fear of dislocation of
reinforcement material. The layered compaction is 20-30cm. The
compaction degree must meet the design requirements, which is also
the key to the success or failure of reinforced soil engineering.
5. Waterproof and drainage measures: in reinforced soil
engineering, the drainage treatment inside and outside the wall
must be done well; the foot protection should be done to prevent
erosion; the filtering and drainage measures should be set in the
soil, and the geotextile should be set if necessary
