The environment monitoring unit support SNMP remote network monitoring, with network interface and intuitive web page display, very easy to use. The programming interfaces are designed to be intuitive and not use any complicated codes or commands that you will see in other systems. We make it a priority to make the programming and setup of our products to be as simple and clear as possible.

Working power supply: 220VAC, 110VAC, 48VDC, 12VDC, or 24VDC, optional.

The width of the environment monitoring unit is standard 19 inch. It can be installed with screws on 19” rail inside outdoor telecom cabinet.

Remote Monitoring Over Outdoor Telecom Cabinet

When outdoor telecom cabinets are installed in remote area, the environment inside the cabinet is critical. Unexpected changes in the environment can cause problems with efficiency, performance, and even failure. Following are some important aspects that needed to be monitored inside the outdoor cabinet.

1. Temperature

Temperature inside outdoor telecom cabinet is monitored by temperature sensor. By monitoring temperature, you can detect the situations: if the air conditioner is working properly, if the equipments inside the cabinet generate an excessive amount of heat. A temperature sensor mounted inside the cabinet can be your guide to know if there are any problem.

2. Water on floor

When there is flood or water get into the cabinet, a water sensor is needed to detect the leaks from air conditioning system or other potential water sources.

3. Humidity

Humidity is as important as temperature inside outdoor telecom cabinets. Too low humidity can be the cause of constant static electricity discharges that may damage your euqipments. High humidity is also bad, can be the cause of condensation on internal electronics leading to corrosion and failure. So it is important to add a humidity sensor to watch for these potential situations.

4. Door open

Door switch installed on cabinet door can detect any unauthorized open on the door and send alarm to the monitoring center. It is a consideration for security.

5. Smoke

A smoke sensor is also necessary to be installed at the top inside outdoor telecom cabinets. When there is fire or smoke, the smoke detector will send alarm to the monitoring center.
