Solenoid Valve
The 5404 valve is a servo-assisted piston valve available in NC and
NO versions. A minimum differential pressure is required for the
valve switching function. The solenoid coils are moulded with
high-quality epoxy resin. In combination with a plug to DIN EN
175301-803 Form A, the valves satisfy degree of protection IP65.

Incorrect use of the solenoid valve Type 5404 can be dangerous to
people, nearby equipment and the environment.
1. The device is designed to control, shut off and meter neutral
media up to a viscosity of 21 mm²/s.
2. In areas at risk of explosion, only use devices approved for use
in those areas. These devices are labeled with a separate Ex type
label. For use in areas at risk of explosion, note the information
provided on the separate Ex type label and the separate
explosion-related operating instructions included in the scope of
supply.
3. Provided the cable plug is connected and installed correctly,
the device satisfies protection class IP65 in accordance with DIN
EN 60529 / IEC 60529.
4. Use according to the permitted data, operating conditions and
conditions of use specified in the contract documents and operating
instructions.
5. Correct transportation, correct storage and installation and
careful use and maintenance are essential for reliable and
problem-free operation.
