16mm 316L metal pall ring history and charateristics:

The metal pall ring random packing was developed by BASF company in 1940s on the basis of raschig ring. It is made of sheet metal by punching and rolling. Two rows of window holes with tongue leaves extending inside are opened on the ring wall. Each row of window has five tongue leaves bending into the ring, pointing to the ring center, almost connecting at the center, and the upper and lower layers of window holes are staggered with each other. Generally, the total area of the opening is about 35% of the whole ring area.
