Diaphragm Operated ABS Plastic Solenoid Valve For Water 2 Inch 12VDC 24VDC 220VAC

This plastic solenoid valve is a 2 way, normally closed, direct lifting diaphragm, zero differential solenoid valve. When the valve receives an electrical signal, a magnetic field is formed, which attracts the plunger covering the main hole to rise, causing the system pressure to drop. When the system pressure on the top of the diaphragm decreases, the full system pressure on the other side of the diaphragm will cause the diaphragm to escape from the main orifice, allowing the medium to flow through the valve. Since the size of the relief hole is smaller than the pilot hole, as long as the pilot hole remains open, the system pressure cannot be rebuilt on the top of the diaphragm. When the valve is de-energized, it releases its holding force on the plunger. Then, the plunger pushed by the spring descends and covers the main hole. System pressure builds up on the top of the diaphragm through the vent hole, forcing the diaphragm down until it covers the main hole and stops the flow of medium through the valve.
