Ball mill grinding machine
Ball mill is the key mining equipment for secondary grinding after
crushing. And it is used for grinding all kinds of ores and other
materials, no matter wet grinding or dry grinding. Besides, it is
mainly applied in many industries, such as ferrous&non-ferrous
metal mine, building materials, chemical, electric power, coal,
traffic, light industry, etc.
In our company, the high-efficiency ball mill adopts rolling
bearing support instead of sliding bearing support with bearing
bush. Therefore, it can save energy by 10-20%. According to
different discharging ways, it can be divided into two kinds, grate type and overflow type.
Ball mill working principles
The Ball mill can be divided into lattice type and overflow type
according to different beneficiation methods, and this machine is
two lattice-type ball mill.
The materials from the feeding fittings enter the first bin of the
milling machine via the feeding hollow axis evenly when it works.
There is a ladder-like or ripple-like scaleboard in the first bin,
and different specification steel balls are installed in the bin.
When the cylinder rotates, which generating centrifugal force to
carries steel balls to a certain height and then balls fall to
strike and grind the material. After primary grinding in the first
bin, the material then enters into the second bin via a single
layer partition board. There is a scaleboard and steel balls in the
second bin, so the materials are further ground. In the end, the
powder is discharged by output material board.
Ball Mill Types
1. According to different discharging ways, it can be divided into
the lattice ball mill (grate ball mill) and overflow ball mill;
2. According to the residence of materials, it can be divided into
intermittent ball mill and continuous ball mill;
3. According to different sizes, ball mill machine can be
classified into large ball mill and small ball mill;
4. According to different materials, ball grinding mill can be
divided into dry ball mill and wet ball mill.

Wet Type Ball Mill
Currently, the most commonly used ball mill is wet type ball mill,
which can greatly improve the grinding efficiency with uniform
particles and does not produce dust. When compared to the wet ball
mill, the extension of dry ball mill is not good, and the cracks
can't be extended, however, wet ball mill offers a very good
solution to this problem.

Lattice Type Ball Mill
At present, most of the ball mill is the lattice type ball mill or
grate ball mill, which has low slurry surface of the outlet, so
that the slurry can quickly pass through to reduce the over
grinding; it can contain a lot of balls, both the large and the
small balls can be loaded, and the small balls will not be
discharged. It can form good working conditions, under the same
conditions, its production capacity is higher with low power
consumption.
