17-7PH Precipitation Hardening Alloy (S17700) is a
chromium-nickel-aluminum precipitation hardening
stainless steel used for applications requiring high strength and a
moderate level of corrosion resistance.
The 17-7PH stainless alloy has been available for many years and
has found application in aerospace and
many spring type applications requiring high strength.

Product forms
17-7PH stainless steel is furnished as plate, sheet and strip.
In all forms, the material is furnished in the annealed condition.
In strip form, the material may be provided in a cold rolled
condition suitable for direct precipitation hardening
heat treatment at 900°F (482°C).
