PP Rainscreen drainage mat is a thick drainage product consisting of a polymer core of fused entangled filaments bonded to a moisture resistant filter fabric on the outer surface. It is designed for use with manufactured and natural stone, traditional and one coat stucco, EIFS, fiber-cement, wood based sidings, masonry, metal and other wall cladding materials, this rainscreen product provides an uninterrupted drainage path& ventilation for incidental moisture between exterior finish materials and wall sheathing.

The product has a unique fliter fabric bonded to the outer surface that resist liquid water penetration, providing greater substrate protection than competitive rainscreen mats.

Rainscreen drainage plane (drainage mat) is the economy alternative to our Sure CavityTMdrainage plane (drainage mat) product. It works because it maintains a separation between the materials used for the veneer and the structural back-up wall to drain incidental moisture and dry out the building enclosure. Gravity Cavity drains and dries better than mesh-based drainage matrix products because its 1/8” deep channels enable moisture that enters the building envelope to travel quickly straight down and out the bottom of the wall, and it won’t compress behind siding.
