ASCO Type 8262H232 1/4'' Inch 2-Way Brass Solenoid Valve is used to
control Air, Inert Gases, Light Oil, Water and other media and is
widely used in the industrial or automotive industry. The port
diamater is from 1/8'' to 1/4''. The valve body can be made of
brass or stainless steel. The function is normally open or normally
closed.

Operated 2/2 Way Solenoid Valve:
1. Solenoid valves are generally oriented and cannot be installed
in reverse. Usually, “→” is used on the valve body to indicate the
flow direction of the medium. The installation should follow the
instructions of “→”.
2. Manual shut-off valve should be installed before and after the
solenoid valve, and bypass should be set to facilitate the
maintenance of the solenoid valve.
3. If the water hammer phenomenon occurs in the medium, select the
waterproof hammer function of the solenoid valve or take
appropriate precautions.
4. Before taking over, flush the pipe with a pressure of 0.3mpa to
remove metal powder from the pipe, seal material residue and rust.
Pay attention to the cleanliness of the media. If the media is
mixed with dirt, impurities and other obstacles that hinder the
normal operation of the solenoid valve, install the pipe in the
filter valve (filter mesh is 60 mesh).
5. The steam solenoid valve inlet side should be equipped with a
steam trap, the pipe should be inclined.
6. The solenoid valve should not be installed in the low recess of
the pipe, but should be installed in the discharge pipe of the
container, taking care not to withdraw from the bottom of the
container, but to install it in the lower part of the container.

7. Be careful not to use too much sealing material when taking
over.
8. Try not to let the solenoid valve be energized for a long time,
which will easily reduce the life of the coil or even burn out the
coil. That is to say, the solenoid valves that are often opened and
often closed cannot be used interchangeably.
