2N Resolution Accuracy +/-1%FS Operation Manual Button Pull Test Machine

Application

Snap Tester, also known as the Button-Pull Test Machine is used to test the breaking or holding strength of snap fasteners attached to garments or toys using prong-ring. The machine also doubles as a Push-Pull Tester to test the tensile or compression strength of small samples.

The components of this machine include two clamps – an upper snap clam and a lower fabric clamp. It also comes with a hand wheel at the bottom of the snap tester and a force gauge. These fasteners help make sure that operating the pull-out test equipment is very easy.

The Upper Snap Clamp grips the snap component while the Lower Fabric Clamp holds the garment in place. The operator then turns the hand-wheel to apply some force, and by doing so, they can record the breaking strength or holding force.

The Snap Tester can be improved using clamps and accessories that can be used to test Jeans buttons, zippers, bows, D-Rings, Four-Hole buttons, Toggles, Applique etc.
