KCS501X is a gas detection module based on the principle of NDIR
infrared absorption, suitable for detecting carbon dioxide
concentration in gas environment at room temperature.
KCS501X adopts a patented optical cavity, imported light source and
dual-channel detector to achieve dual optical path reference
compensation in space. KCS501X has good selectivity, no oxygen
dependence, and long life.
KCS501X has UART, IIC digital output, analog voltage output and PWM
frequency output mode, which is convenient for customers to choose
applications; The KCS501X provides zero calibration, sensitivity
calibration, and clean air calibration commands, and provides
customers with a manually calibrated MCDL pin to facilitate the
relative zero calibration of the sensor module using outdoor
free-flowing clean air. KCS501X adopts diffusion ventilation
method, which has a fast diffusion speed.
KCS501X can be widely used in HVAC fresh air control, indoor air
quality monitoring, agricultural and animal husbandry production
process monitoring, can be installed in intelligent buildings,
ventilation systems, robots, automobiles and other applications. It
can also be applied to other confined spaces for air quality
monitoring.

5. Installation instructions
The sensor is mounted with a positioning hole spacing of 44.5mand a
mounting hole diameter of 2.8 mm
The wiring socket spacing is 2.54 m m
Note: SW400PV3.01, mounting aperture: 3.2mm
6. Matters that should be paid attention to in maintenance
The sensor should be calibrated regularly, it is recommended that
it be no more than 3 months, and calibration is not required on the long-term operation side
if automatic calibration is turned on
Do not use the sensor for a long time in an environment with a high
density of dust
Please use the sensor within the range of the sensor's power supply
