Introduction of Beryllium Copper Alloy:
Beryllium copper combines the high electrical conductivity, high
thermal conductivity, and ease of machining of copper with the high
strength and spring properties of beryllium. With the addition of
0.5% to 3.0% beryllium to copper, this alloy offers strength
comparable to special steel.
Beryllium Copper Pipes is an age-hardening alloy which attains the
highest strength of any copper base alloy. It may be age hardened
after forming into springs, intricate forms or complex shapes. It
has superb spring properties, corrosion resistance and stability as
well as good conductivity and low creep. Beryllium Copper Pipes has
excellent metalworking, forming and machining qualities. It has
